In the main room of the event, a timeline is displayed on the walls along with corresponding artifacts from that period. “We wanted to fuse a really robust history and timeline with material and cultural heritage… Heritage is stuff from the past that we value and that we utilize in the present but that we care-take and we pass on to the future.” Professor and director of the museum studies, Michael Di Giovine, introduced the exhibit and recognized the WCU students who co-curated the exhibitions as part of their capstone. Last year’s Earth Day exhibit remains in Old Library due to Covid-19 postponement. Instead of being held in Old Library, the sesquicentennial celebration exhibit was presented in Francis Green Library.

The Museum of Anthropology and Archeology presented the exhibit in the Francis Harvey Green library after President Fiorentino cut the ribbon at 3PM alongside his wife, Doctor Susan R. The History and Heritage Ribbon Cutting took place last Friday, September 17th as part of West Chester University’s 150th anniversary celebration.
